Challenge

TOAST was called upon by The Polyglot Group to create an engaging, progressive, and friendly brand footprint that encapsulates their new company’s vision. The challenge for TOAST to reach, through strategic brand messaging, was “how are we going to engage companies in the sustainability market as well as individual job seekers passionate about and searching for employment in the environmental industry?”

It was crucial for Anavo’s final brand to be accessible and recognisable. Not only to stand out as a key player in the recruitment realm, but primarily as champions for sustainability. 

They need to be known by companies working across the environment/future/net-zero space as well as respected by individuals who are passionate about working collectively toward progressive green action, and by global corporate bodies aiming to expand their business values to reflect a sustainable future.

Our Solution

The company needed to be recognised as a group that is driven by passion and a dedication to a wider cause. 

Through an iterative research process of interviews, industry analysis and an in-depth strategic workshop, our team developed Anavo’s unique brand footprint which aligned the visions of all key stakeholders and brought their business values to life.

Inspired by the Greek word which means “to ignite,” “Anávo” was chosen for the brand name, encompassing their mission as a collective to instigate positive change and help the world transition to cleaner practices for a better future. Accompanying this, TOAST put forth the tagline “The Energy to do better” for their team to adopt. This showcases to their audience that they are a recruitment agency empowering people within the clean energy & environment industries to drive the decarbonising change that our planet needs. 

The logo that was settled on encompasses the bright ambition intrinsic to renewable energy. The buoyant typeface design reflects that they are a team who is passionate about going the extra mile and encapsulates their deep expertise that is underpinned by a curiosity for new ideas, systems and innovations.

At only 2 years old, having been created amidst the uncertain yet innovation-provoking time of the 2020 pandemic, Anavo already has a 10+ local employment team, a 15,000+ LinkedIn network and an extensive library of successful client case studies.
