“Crazy About You”

MyVet is a veterinary care company working to ensure a pet’s health always comes first. They offer dedicated pet services from specialist consultations, dental care and nutrition, through to microchipping, diagnostic imaging, and surgery. 

They want to empower pet parents through the creation of pet wellness centres. At their centres, pet parents can learn how to best care for their pets; enriching their pets’ lives and becoming the best owners they can be. Their centres are community-focused gathering hubs for all pet parents to gather and share their passion for their pets.

TOAST previously worked with the MyVet team on their initial branding and advertising launch materials. Our collaboration was a huge success, with the business going on to service a diverse client group and receive rave testimonials. Based on their success, the team was ready to rebrand. They sought to reflect their growing expertise and experienced footprint in a brand identity that was fun, engaging and accurately mirrored their pet passion.

Challenge

MyVet’s overall business vision is to transform veterinary clinics into pet wellness centres. A welcoming place that will be recognised as the one-stop-shop for all things pet wellness related, where pets go when they are happy and healthy, not only when they are sick. 

Auditing their current assets and social presence revealed that their actual strengths were no longer communicated through their website and that their brand was not standing out from the rest within the pet industry, even if their services are exceling. TOAST was re-approached to create uplifted graphic branding materials for their team which imbued their core values and accurately reflected their skill and expertise in the pet care industry. 

Our Solution

At TOAST, strategy is our foundation; we started by unwinding MyVet’s business strengths and opportunities, auditing its key assets and factors of success... in order to rearticulate the existing brand footprint and its great principles in an increasingly cohesive, singular and powerful way. We worked to strengthen the brand equity to be even more Unique, Recognisable and Ownable by MyVet, so it can resonate across multiple targets, services and locations.

Our stakeholder analysis and interviews unveiled some terrific insights. The vets do not rush through the session, allocating ample time to connect with both the pets and the owners at a personal level; the vets genuinely enjoy working with the animals and ensure they make them comfortable by going down to their level, playing with, and giving them treats. 

Their animal-first approach displays their innate love for pets - they provide a holistic approach to the health and wellbeing of your cats and dogs every step of the way so they can live a happy and healthy life. From these insights, TOAST developed the Big Idea and creative platform “Crazy About You,” reflecting MyVet’s dedication, passion and true commitment to their role as veterinarians and pet carers. 

To accompany this tagline, our design team created customised graphic assets for their brand. This collection of animal graphics, injected with a vivid colour palette of purples and oranges, allows the endless character and jovial personality of their team to shine through and be clearly communicated to their audience. Paired with a series of fun pet puns and silly phrasing, this brand identity is overflowing with joy, passion and personality, an up-to-date representation of the dedicated platform MyVet is expertly delivering.
