The Sanctuary masterplan in Wentworth Point offers an ever-changing life experience through people, culture and the environments within.

Following the completion and success of ‘Landing,’ Stage 1 of Sanctuary, the masterplan is moving forward to its second stage. Positioned to be overlooking the Parramatta River and bordering the neighbourhood green, Stage 2 lies at the very centre of Sanctuary's vibrant community estate and encompasses three new elements, the Laguna and Glade residences and Revive health club. 

Consisting of 171 premium waterside apartments centred around lush open spaces and a multilevel wellbeing facilities building - Revive, the Laguna and Glade residences achieve perfect synergy with nature. This stage is beautifully designed to allow an inside-out communication between landscape and architecture. 

Embracing the calm, curious flow of the Parramatta River and the best of international living standards, these developments have been designed to allow seamless communication between the surrounding natural landscape and modern architecture.

Challenge

As Laguna, Glade and Revive are staged additions in a large-scale masterplan, as opposed to standalone developments, it was imperative that the Sanctuary property branding and strategic vision remained as the common thread that ties all elements together. As, to remain an authentic and highly-regarded brand, it is key to present a united image with a consistent and clear message. 

Harmony, vibrancy, a sense of calm and liveability are fundamental attributes defining a sanctuary and are wonderfully evident in this Stage 2 development. The Laguna and Glade residences and Revive health club bring newfound energy and life to the Sanctuary precinct. Aligned and connected with the overall branding and message of Sanctuary’s masterplan, Laguna and Glade have an infectious spirit. In the heart of the precinct, bookended by both the river and neighbourhood green, these spaces weave beautifully into their natural surrounds and offer occupants a space that is liveable and abundant in lively characteristics.

As elements within the Sanctuary masterplan brand, Laguna, Glade and Revive are similarly identifiable by the unique kaleidoscopic logotype. In creating this gracefully fragmented circular imagery, TOAST was inspired by the fundamental principles within Japanese design, such as simplicity, understated beauty and tranquillity. It’s an intricate but elegant wreath, a symbol which ties all elements of Sanctuary together.

Our Solution

Laguna and Glade are highly anticipated boutique developments on the water’s edge offering a serene living experience in the heart of Sanctuary. 

Across both buildings, nature acts as a bridge between the apartments and the wider landscape, creating an unrivalled living experience where nature and urban living seamlessly integrate. The harmony and communication between our inside and outside worlds is a fundamental element within Sanctuary’s brand footprint, making this masterplan evermore unique. 

The fluidity of Laguna’s logo variant captures the sense of calm and serenity that the building exudes. The malleable, rejuvenating qualities of water are captured in the building's architecture and are further conveyed in this logo's expression.

As for Glade, this logo variant is heavily flora-inspired and integrates natural influences throughout its design. The striking green textural pattern conveys this sense of vitality, promising a life that is energetic and connected to nature.

Further, Revive's logo takes the aqueous territory introduced with Laguna and pushes it further. Centred around the uniquely styled, revitalising pool that is a core foundation of the building's offerings, this logo treatment fully reflects the tranquil, restorative qualities of the health club it represents.

The Stage 2 triad is an extension of the refuge that is Sanctuary and delivers a beautifully unique experience for residents and the wider community. A space that is in harmony with nature, abundant in vibrant interactions, epitomises comfortable living and offers a fulfilled life experience.
